Syncing iMessage and webOS Messages is now possible, thanks to some open source bits...

Message Bridge runs on a Mac with iMessage on it, and makes your messages available via REST on your home network:

And the first new Synergy connector for webOS in a decade (maybe more?) syncs messages into your Messaging app:

Web Window is a new utility for legacy webOS that let's you keep an eye on a webpage from your device -- either as an always-on app, or in Exhibition mode. Can be used in combination with a WRP server to render more modern webpages. Great for keeping an eye on a security cam, or tracking a package...

Another mobile webOS app makes its way to modern platforms! The community-built webOS Tracker shows stats on released and prototype webOS mobile devices, and now its available on store.app as an installable Web App, and on Google Play (Proceeds support the archive, or you can grab the app for free and side-load via our GitHub.)

webOS Enyo2 apps can be turned into modern PWAs (Progressive Web Apps) pretty easily. Now there's a store for PWAs, so I listed some great webOS apps there: https://store.app/user/codepoet

LuneOS is still in active development -- and is closing in on a new stable build after re-basing on the latest webOS OSE (Open Source Edition).
There's a new version of the App Museum to match -- grab it at https://appcatalog.webosarchive.org or on your webOS device now!

We're excited to announce that the historical app ReadOnTouch Pro, a Pocket client for vintage webOS, has been restored. Importantly, this is the first app to support so-called 'modern auth' (OAuth2) with the help of a simple web service -- a pattern than can be leveraged to restore other apps (at least where an open API still exists).
Check it out in the #AppMuseum https://appcatalog.webosarchive.org/app/ReadOnTouchPRO3.1

Well Apple gave us USB-C charging (only because the EU forced them to), but the Mini appears to be dead. Another bummer of an event. Anyone else miss the old days when phones were interesting?
